Chief Executive Officer
Bradley Dinsmore returns to HealthSouth after successful leadership in management roles in both the acute and sub-acute arenas. A Texas native he received an associate degree in nursing from Austin Community College and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Central Arkansas. Bradley later graduated with a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Seton Hall University. His strength in coordinating strong nursing care comes from the personal approach he has with nursing staff and patients.
Laura Gray, M.D
Laura Gray, M.D., board certified physiatrist and medical director of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Austin since 2015, has been serving the rehabilitation community for more than 30 years. Dr. Gray received her undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin, medical school in Galveston Texas at the University and completed her residency training at Stanford University Medical Center.

Director of Pharmacy
Peter has worked in both hospital and retail pharmacies and has extensive experience as a clinical and administrative pharmacist. He is a direct contributor to the high quality delivery of pharmaceutical services at HealthSouth Austin. Peter graduated with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, and has a master’s degree in healthcare pharmacy administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Director of Quality
Anne Guerra brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience and expertise to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Austin. Anne is a Desert Storm Veteran with more than 16 years clinical and management experience. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s in health administration from University of Texas in San Antonio.
Director of Therapy Operations
Liz Markland, director of therapy operations, has worked at HealthSouth Austin since 2009 as a speech therapist and team lead. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP). She holds additional certifications in Vital Stim and Lee Silverman’s Voice Treatment.
Kathy has more than 20 years of accounting and management experience. She has spent the past 12 years in healthcare, having worked in hospice, home health and inpatient rehabilitation settings. She joined HealthSouth in 2015 at the Central Business Office in Brooksville, Fla. and transferred to the South Austin rehabilitation hospital in May 2016. Kathy holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Leo University in Fla.
Plant Operations Director
Ricky Nevels retired from the Air Force in 1996 and began working in hospitals in the Austin area shortly thereafter. He manages the facility operations that include the areas of the environment of care, plant operations / maintenance, dietary, purchasing and environmental services.
Director of Human Resources
Michael brings more than five years of human resource experience to HealthSouth. He values employees and is dedicated to providing them support and meeting their needs. Michael graduated in 2008 from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, with a bachelor's degree in communication studies. He is currently pursuing his PHR certification.
Jonathan has worked at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Austin since 2013 as an occupational therapist and as a therapy team leader. He is a licensed occupational therapist (OTR) who attended the University of Central Arkansas where he received his bachelor’s degree in health science and Master of Science in occupational therapy.
